in Sevier County.

kindergarten classes, head start centers & child care
centers.

- Multisensory reminiscence programs
in nursing homes using BIFOLKAL programming kits.
- Story telling programming for community
organizations.

"Making Connections” Sevier County
Public Library System(SCPLS )partnership with Sevier County School
District(SCSD) began in 2006-2007 with a matching grant from Alcoa
Foundation to provide :1)every pre-K student in the six SCSD pre-K
classes with a SCPLS library card,2)to provide a curriculum based
ready-to-read program in each classroom eight times during the
school year,3)and to have each student to create a page in a book
(art and narrative) to be published by the Sevier County Public
Library System.
