Book Clubs
  Nora Roberts Book Club - Kodak
  Senior Citizen's Book Club
 
Adult and Children's Booklists
  Booklists for readers of all ages with varying interests are available at each library. Books can be looked up by using our card catalog.
 
Books in Braille and Descriptive Videos
  Limited collections are available through the County System, and our librarians can assist patrons in accessing additional materials through the Utah State Library.
 
Book Sale Bargains
  Used book sales enable the library to discard old, out of date, damaged, and some donated materials to make room for current items. We will announce our sales both in the paper and on our web page calendar.
 
Business and Financial Information
  Sevierville, Seymour, Kodak, and Pitman Libraries all have a good selection of business and financial materials in their collections.
 
CD-ROMs
  CD-ROM's covering a wide variety of subjects are now available for checkout.
 
Children's Storytimes
  Toddler and Preschool Storytimes are held regularly at several libraries. Look under Library Programs and Events on the home page for a current listing.
 
Copy Machines
  Copy machines are available at all libraries. Copies are twenty five cents.
 
Customer Services Department
  Call Customer Services at 453-3532 for help with information you may be looking for such as facts, dates, names, answers to historical questions, community and library information, and the availability of certain library resources.
 
Exhibits and Displays
  Several libraries have wall space for displaying art exhibits and some libraries have locked display cases for three dimensional displays. Look up Library Programs and Events on the home page for a current listing of displays and exhibits.
 
Income Tax Forms and Tax Help
  Income tax forms are available at all libraries. Tax help, provided by volunteers, is available each spring at several libraries. Look under Library Programs and Events on the home page.
 
Information Databases
  Encyclopedias may be what you need to peruse on-line, but we also offer a wide variety of databases on Business, the Arts, History, Science, Health and more. Check out Databases on our home page.
 
Interlibrary Loan
  Interlibrary Loan can be used to help you locate hard to find books that are available in other library systems across the country.
 
Internet Access
  Access to the Internet is available on a personal computer at all Sevier County Libraries 
 
Large Print Books
  A selection of books with large type can be found at all libraries.
 
Library Cards
  Library cards are available to Sevier County residents of any age. Those under 18 may obtain a library card with signed approval from a parent or guardian. Your Sevier County Library card can also be used at all Sevier County branch Libraries . Ask a librarian about our "restricted child access" card.
 
Magazine Indexing Service
  You can find 1600 magazines in this database with approximately 800 of those magazines containing full text articles and the rest containing abstracted articles. Magazines searching can be found under "Research by Topic" on our home page.
 
Magnifying Devices
  Magnifying devices for citizens with visual impairments are available for in-house use at each County Library.
 
Mail-A-Book
  If you are homebound and unable to come to the library in person, you can order and receive books through the mail. Call Customer Service at 453-3532 for more information or email Interlibrary Loan.
 
Materials for Checkout
  Books, books-on-cassette, books on CD, cassette tapes, music compact discs, magazines, maps, pamphlets, video tapes, DVDs and CD-ROMs are all available for check out.
 
Newspaper Searching
  The Mountain Press, Tri- County News, Knoxville New Sentinel, Seymour Herald, Seymour Times, Smoky Mountain Herald,  New York Times, USA Today 
 
Programs and Special Events for All Ages
  Programs and special events for children, adults, teenagers, and families are held regularly at libraries throughout the system. A current listing of programs can be found in the bi-monthly brochureand calendar events which can be obtained at any library in the system, or look under the "Calendar" on the library's home page.
 
Reference Service
  You can call the library for help with reference questions at 453-3532. Or if you know the branch number, you can call that.
 
Renewal of Items
  You can renew most items for the time of the original loan period. To renew an item you can do one of the following:
  • bring it back to the library
  • calling the library
 
Reserve-A-Book (placing a hold)
  Just use your library card to reserve an item by:
  • calling the library
 
Review Patron Record
  You can review your present library account by the Library's Catalog Page and selecting the "My Library Card" tab. The Library's Web Site is at: www.sevierlibrary.org You can use your library card barcode to review:
  • items checked out fines, fees, etc. materials on reserve
  • patron information

You can request a "pin number" at the library.

 
Summer Reading Club
 
Each year, the Sevier County Library System offers a summer reading club with programs, stories, games, and events, all to help motivate children to read over the summer months.
