Your first library card is free. If your card was lost or stolen, the replacement is $3.00. Anyone within the Nolichucky Region will is eligible for a card. The Noli region consists of: Sevier, Cocke, and Jefferson counties.

A parent or legal guardian must sign for children under the age of 17.

A current drivers license, voters registration, or utility bill with your name and address is required as an ID for getting a card. A phone number where you can be reached is also necessary.

The limit for the first check out will be 2 items. When returned, up to 10 items per card can be checked out . The limit for Videos or Books on tape is 4 of either.

Books, books on tape and music cd's can be checked out for 3 weeks and videos/DVDs are for 7 days. If late, books are 25 cents per day, books on tape are 50 cents per day and videos/cds are $2.00 per day.

All items can be renewed by calling the library unless they are reserved or new items. The libraries have drop boxes for both books and videos for after hour returns.

Any individual with fines totaling $5.00 or more may not borrow materials until all fines and costs are paid. Fines are not charged for materials which are lost and paid for.

The replacement cost for lost cards will be $3.00.

If an item is lost, the maximum fine will be the replacement cost of the item plus a processing fee of $5.00. An exception is that the $5.00 fee will not be charged if the replacement cost is less than $5.00. An example is the video case which can usually be replaced for $1.00. If a video case is damaged or lost, the customer will be charged the cost of the case plus $1.00.

Non-resident fee for a library card is $25.00 per person per year and it is non refundable.
