My Library Card: Get a Library Card
 
A new card is free unless you already have one and then the replacement is $3.00. Any outstanding fines on the existing card must be paid before a new card is issued. Anyone within the Nolichucky Region will be eligible for a card unless there are outstanding fines on the existing card. The Noli region consists of: Sevier, Cocke, and Jefferson counties.
   
There is no age limit for obtaining a library card. A parent or legal guardian MUST sign for children under the age of 18.

What you need to get a card:
Tennessee Driver's License with current address
If you do not have a TDL with your current address, present ONE form of current address verification as follows:
    A voters registration or utility bill with your current address
  A pay stub or banking account with your current address
  Lease/deed agreement
  A Utility bill with your current address
    Vehicle registration
    Voter registration
    Property tax statement (current year)
 
Non-resident cards
Cards are available to individuals who live outside the Nolichucky region. The annual fee for nonresident membership is a $25 non-refundable fee per year.
 
Apply for a Card
 
You may apply for a library card at any Sevier County Public Library Branch. You may use your library card immediately upon receipt. There is a first time limit of 2 items when returned, there is a limit of 10 items per card.
 
Your Card
 
Do not let anyone else use your card. You are responsible for each item checked out on it. If you give permission for someone else to use your card, please let the librarian know and sign the permission form. Damaged or lost items will be your responsibility. The librarian can help you with the replacement cost. If your card is lost or stolen, contact the Library immediately. Always bring your library card to the library with you to check out materials. Your library card is valid for one year. When it expires, card information will be updated and the card will be renewed for another year.
