June 11 - Sign up for the Summer Reading Program is from 11am until 5pm. Pick up a schedule, suggested reading lists & book logs to start your summer reading experience. The programs will start each Wednesday morning at 11:00. |

Reading Guidlines for the Young Adults |

| |
|
What do we define as acceptable reading? Anything: books, graphic novels, magaqines, pamphlets, CD liner notes. (We don't care-just read!) Please make a note of what you are reading on your logs and the time spent reading.
Time vs. Book Quantity In 2003, teens had to read 10 books. Since then, we've based our reading requirements on time spent reading, instead of number of books read.
Teens strive to complete 6 hours of reading during the summer months.
