SEVIER COUNTY PUBLIC LIBRARY SYSTEM SUMMER READING PROGRAM

SRP Sign-Up Dates

Be Creative @ Your Library during the 2009 Summer Reading Program at any branch of the Sevier County Public Library System during the months of June and July. During the week of June 8-12, children, young adults and adults are invited to visit their local branch library to sign up for the summer reading program. It is a proven fact that grade-school children, who continue to read during the summer months when school is not in session retain, and in some cases, improve their reading abilities. The Sevier County Public Library System Summer Reading Program sign-up days are as follows:

· Seymour Branch Library, 137 W. Macon Lane, Seymour - Monday, June 8 – from 11:00 am – 5:00 pm. For more information, please call Spence Perry at 573-0728.

· Sevier County Main Library, 321 Court Avenue, Sevierville - Wednesday, June 10 from 11:00 am – 5:00 pm. For more information, call Vickie Kelly at 453-3532.

· Kodak Branch Library, 319 W. Dumplin Valley Road, Kodak - Friday, June 12 from 11:00 am – 5:00 pm. For more information, call Celia McKnight at 933-0078.

Summer reading participants can pick up suggested reading lists, schedules and book logs to get started in their summer reading adventure where they are invited to “Get Creative @ the Library!”
