SCPLS BOOK CLUB MEETINGS FOR MARCH

SEVIER COUNTY, TN. Become involved with a book club sponsored by the Sevier County Public Library System this year. Each month, the SCPLS hosts a variety of book clubs to fit personal reading preferences. The SCPLS Main Library Fireside Book Club enjoys contemporary, eclectic books. The SCPLS Inspirational Reading Club focuses on an inspirational author and his or her works each month instead of a specific book. The SCPLS Kodak Branch Literary Classics Book Club discusses previous and more recent classics.

Each club holds a monthly meeting and the March meeting dates, authors and books are as follows:

·         Friday, March 12 @ 10:00 a.m. - SCPLS Main Library Fireside Book Club will discuss Lin Stepp’s book “The Foster Girls.” The club meets at Fort Sanders Sevier County Senior Center at 1220 West Main Street in Sevierville. Please call Virginia Borelli at (865)774-6033 for more information.

·         Wednesday, March 10 @ 1:00 p.m. – SCPLS Seymour Branch Inspirational Reading Club – The monthly meeting features the author, Stephen Bly and his books. ·         Friday, March 26 @ 6:00 p.m. – SCPLS Kodak Branch Literary Classics Book Club meeting will feature Karen Joy Fowler’s “The Jane Austen Book Club.” The club meets at the Kodak Branch Library at 319 West Dumplin Valley Road in Kodak.
