An
ILL is an item a Sevier County Library branch borrows from an outside
library. Items are not guaranteed. Some items may not be available
or can't be loaned.
The library can borrow an item for twenty one
(21) days before it needs to be sent back unless the loaning library
wants it back sooner. ILL items will only be held on the reserve shelf
for five (5) days and then they are sent back to the lending library.
Patron's are called on the day the ILL item
is received at the library and should pick it up as soon as possible.
The amount of time you have to use the item is determined by when it
is picked up. For instance; if the item is picked up as on the day
the patron is called, it will be due back at the library in twenty
one (21) days. If it stays on the reserve shelf three (3) days before
being picked up, the patron can only keep the item for eighteen (18)
days.
An ILLcan not be renewed!
