November 12 is declared Miss Ellie day

The turnout for the Miss Ellie event at the Comedy Barn was GREAT. Mayor Keith Whaley declared November 12, 2009 Miss Ellie Day!! She didn't make the Top 4 but did make the Top 5. Out of 60,000 dogs, Miss Ellie had more votes than any other dog due to the support of Sevier County. Even though she didn't win, the Sevier County Humane Society still desperately needs repairs. The problem has not gone away.

The Comedy Barn Theater has donated over $30,000 to the Sevier County Humane Society including $5,000 personally from owner David Fee. Please visit the Comdey Barn Theater web site for more updates and for videos.
