In early 2007, Sevier County and its municipalities undertook an import initiative to develop and examine a set of recommendations for the effective management of hillside development. As part of this effort, the client communities have retained Saratoga Associates to facilitate the recommendation process and to elicit pubic comments. The client communities consist of Sevier County and the Cities of Sevierville, Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg, and Pittman Center.
